La carta mostra le maggiori via di comunicazione che congiungono le principali località e tre grandi inserti con le aree di Johannesburg, il Capo di Buona Speranza e la costa del Natal che con capitale Pietermaritzburg era un’antica provincia della Repubblica Sudafricana ora unificata con il bantustan del KwaZulu. La carta riassume attraverso numerose vignette gli svaghi, le amenità e naturalmente la tipica flora e fauna che era possibile vedere e vivere una volta raggiunta la nazione. Beautiful little map of Morocco from the Mercator Hondius “Atlas Minor” published in Amsterdam in 1648 at Jannsonius with german text on verso. A large pictorial map by J. Choain Audiberti of French Equatorial Africa showing several African countries including Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Gabon, Central African Republic and the Belgian Congo. The map is illustrated with lovely vignettes of people, farming, trees, mountains and animals like tigers, camels, horses, antelopes, ostriches, giraffes, elephants.
