Venice “The land of St. Mark”

A very fine art deco travel guide to Venice published for the foreign visitors by the travel agency A. Bertoli in Riva degli Schiavoni in 1929.
The richly illustrated guide (42 pages + 2 folding) describes Venice, St. Mark, Doges Palace, bridges and canals, famous palaces, Murano, Burano, Torcello but also Trieste and surroundins as a part of a beautiful vacation in the area.
At the end a really lovely folded plan of Venice with the suggestions for a sightseeing on foot, by gondola or ferry.
The map is embellished with clouds in the sky and by a early 20th century car, plane, steam train and boat in the corners. In the background Dolomites.
