Important map by Giuliano Giampiccoli showing the territories of Verona, Vicenza, Padua, Rovigo and Venice as well as part of the Duchy of Mantua, Mirandola and the Polesine of Ferrara. It shows in beautiful detail all the topography of the area, the natural elements such as mountains, rivers, lakes, marshy and wooded areas as well as the main communication routes. At the bottom right inside the cartouche with the scale, a note informs the reader that the map was made on the basis of maps drawn up by Alexis-Hubert Jaillot, Giulio Carlo Frattino, Agostino Cerutti, Giacomo Solari and Placide de Sainte-Hélèn. Below this note is the place of printing, at Carattoni sul Corso in Verona. On the bottom left of the frame is the author’s signature ‘Gulian Gampiculi’. On the upper right a second cartouche with the title, the dedication to Antonio Grimani, elected Captain of Verona, two figures in arms and the Grimani family coat of arms. Rare separate map published in 1735.
