Decorative wall map of Europe drawn by Menetrier and engraved and printed by E. Charaire in Paris in 1900.
The map is richly embellished with 10 views at top including the Louvre, Westminster Abbey, Moscow’s Kremlin and the Parthenon and with illustrations of the uniforms of 26 European countries. In the corners of the map are the title, a view of the Petit Journal’s premises in Paris, and comparative tables of mountain heights and buildings including the newly-completed Eiffel Tower and Washington Monument.
