John Bull bites his hands because despite its riches and gold he does not find an ally to dominate the world. From the french edition of “Il Papagallo” a satirical magazine dedicated exclusively to international politics founded in Bologna, 1873 by Augusto Grossi (1835-1919), which specialized in stunning fine color-printed caricatures.
