Romagna Olim Flaminia

A very fine Ortelius map of the Romagna region from the Theatrum Orbis Terrarium by Abraham Ortelius published by Jean Baptiste Vrients in 1612.
This is one of the rare Johanne Baptista Vrients maps, which only appear in the final editions of Ortelius’ Theatrum Orbis Terrarum. Includes a decorative cartouche and inset map of the area around Rovigo in Veneto.
