Rara carta geografica pubblicata come foglio sciolto che mostra gli scenari delle battaglie napoleoniche nell’Italia settentrionale con una dettagliatissima descrizione dei territori del re di Sardegna, Savoia, Piemonte e Monferrato, la Lombardia austriaca, le repubbliche di Genova, Lucca e Venezia, Modena, Parma e Mantova, il vescovato di Trento e il Tirolo. Disegnata dal cartografo Franz Muller e pubblicata a Vienna dalla rinomata Ditta Artaria nel 1793. A differenza di altre carte simili che al tempo erano concepite per narrare le guerre napoleoniche nell’Italia settentrionale questa mappa si estende, nel medesimo bel dettaglio, nella rappresentazione anche alla Svizzera e al sud della Francia mostrando Provenza, Delfinato, Languedoc, Auvergne, il Lionese, il Bourbonnais, Borgogna e Franche-Comté.

Out of stockA rare copper engraved panorama of Venice from the really uncommon “Sachsischer Postillon” a kind of historic-geographic magazine published in Vienna in 1784. At top the portrait of Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV and a key to 65 point of interest numbered on the view. The author is George Hisler who drawn the city in curious German stile easily visible in the shape of the roofs and bell towers.
